Our Solar Installer programme is a unique, full-time, 6-week skills bootcamp teaching the technical skills, behaviours and mindsets that individuals need for entry level installer roles in the Green Sector. We actively look to support underrepresented and diverse groups, with cohorts typically >70% ethnic minority background and >40% previously eligible for free school meals. Generation is a global non profit, founded in 2015. We deliver education to employment bootcamps that prepare, place and support individuals from diverse backgrounds into life changing careers that would otherwise be inaccessible. Generation aims to ensure opportunities are widened to individuals from all backgrounds. All learners are screened and selected on their passion for the profession, intrinsic motivation to work in the green sector and social impact case.
